Hi everyone,
I would like to thank everyone who voted for me during the contest of Lilla Rogers’ Studio Global Talent Search last week.
It was so cool seeing people promoting me on the web and amongst friends, haha. Just wow :D I am very grateful for that. It was really the sweetest thing.

Unfortunately I didn’t make it into the last round though, but it’s not a sad thing :)
It was a fun challenge and it really got me into the mood of making more stuff.
Soon I will be taking part in part B of the e-course by Lilla Rogers’ Studio.
I can’t wait to start again. Doing these things, being able to get into the 2nd round of the contest, and taking part in these e-courses really got me focused on my work as an illustrator. I know I really love what I do and I will continue doing so and hopefully become better!
What I really need to focus on now is working on my portfolio and picking up licensing. That’s something I am really looking forward to.

Another plus of these events is that I met some really great artists and made some sweet and special new friends. Some of them became closer and were so great and supportive!  That’s quite precious to me as well.
I am going to wish the new finalists good luck with their last project. Can’t wait to see what they will be up to next.!

Have a nice day all!

Miriam – you are so amazing! I am quite surprised you didn’t make it to the finals, in fact. I’m looking forward to seeing your creations in Part B!
